I had my heart set on visiting Alcatraz Island, so I chose the Hilton for its central location. The surprising bonus was the impressive wine selection at the hotel's restaurant, perfect for a relaxing dinner after exploring the city by the bay.
Small rooms and uncomfortable beds. Outdated bathrooms.

Great location for exploring the bay, Chinatown, and Financial District. Quick check-in/out, helpful staff, and convenient parking.

the location is alright, it's right in the heart of chinatown, which means it's also close to union square and north beach. the room was clean, and the roomservice did a great job. you have some food options outside your hotel, we loved the ramen place around the corner.
